Tipa is the shorter, fatter and more stupid of Marcel's followers and one of the two tertiary antagonists (alongside Armando) of Rio. He always loses to fellow idiotic poacher Armando (even if he is the real winner) in "Rock, Paper, Scissors" when it comes to feeding Nigel. He really likes the orphan boy Fernando, as shown when after it is shown that not only is he (Fernando) an orphan, nor does he have any siblings or pets, he asks for permission to keep him, and later, when dressed for carnival, he begs for Fernando to come after he (Fernando again) asks to come.
