The Grand Duke of Owls is the main antagonist of "Rock-A-Doodle". He is a giant owl who despises the sun and any other light, so he loathes Chanticleer crowing to bring up the sun. Because of this, he sents a mean crow to fight with Chanticleer so the sun will rise without him and have Chanticleer leave the farm. Then, the sun would go back to bed, and it rains. He has a nephew named Hunch, and secretly, another minion is a fox named Pinky.
