Stinky Pete, also known as the Prospector, is the hidden secondary antagonist of Toy Story 2. He is Woody's arch-rival and former best friend, mentor, and grandfather figure.

- Stinky Pete is often thought to be the secondary antagonist of the second film. This is not true as Al McWhiggin drove the plot and had bigger plans, as well as Stinky Pete simply being mean and demanding, but is necessarily evil. Also, Al desired to become rich while Stinky Pete desired to be recognized.
- Stinky Pete is a true villain as he only wanted to go to Japan to be admired.
- He is almost similar to Lil' Lightning from 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure: Both have been featured in their own shows, but was eventually no longer part of it as the show was either cancelled or went on without them. They were also both jealous and bitter about not being admired enough and being mistreated their entire lives.
- The only difference is Lil' Lightning received more sympathy than Stinky Pete as he was more traitorous than Lil' Lightning.
