Dr. Julius No is the opening antagonist of the James Bond franchise, appearing as the titular main antagonist of the 1962 film Dr. No and the posthumous overarching antagonist of the sequel From Russia with Love.
He is an operative of SPECTRE and a terrorist. He is an incredibly smart being, hence his work as doctor. He is also quite powerful via his use of metallic hands and has a specialty in nuclear physics. Although being the main antagonist of the film, he only has an appearance in the climax.
He was portrayed by the late Joseph Wiseman.
